We start with a brainstorming session to determine your vision for the future of your building systems. At no cost, we deliver an assessment that establishes possible solutions, estimated costs, funding sources, and benefits. These benefits include environmental and economic impacts.
Once expectations have been established, engineers spend time in your buildings studying systems, gathering data on tablets, and building 3D models of your environments. These models are used to simulate energy consumption, size equipment, improve safety, and predict occupant comfort. Based on our investigation and your input, we turn the preliminary assessment into an investment-grade implementation plan with guaranteed outcomes. Only the proposed solutions that you are passionate about are included in the final plan.
If desired, we secure alternative funding sources through our inhouse team – BR Capital. Alternative funding sources include federal and state grants, utility incentives and low interest financing, which allow the projects to be constructed without impacting your general fund. As a private company we are also able to leverage and pass through some of the benefits of state and federal tax incentives.
During design, our licensed engineers work with our project managers to account for all code, Division of State Architect (DSA), other regulatory, and constructability requirements. This collaboration between engineers, project managers and our in-house trades during design ensures you receive zero change orders once the projects are funded and approved.
During construction, we lead recurring progress meetings, hold everyone accountable to safety as the top priority, and monitor the jobsite for potential issues that are addressed before they turn into problems
All new systems are commissioned to ensure your requirements as the building owner are met. All project documentation is turned over through formal training sessions with your team. Using data analytics software, we continuously commission the new systems over time to also ensure long term performance.
The new systems are continuously monitored remotely to look for maintenance and comfort issues, diagnose potential causes and dispatch technicians to make repairs. We look for operational issues, such as schedules being overridden, then make corrections remotely with your permission to prevent a potential loss of savings.
We’d be happy to talk through all the details and let you know exactly how we can add value to your project and your team. Click below and let’s jump in!
